Swimming at Nana & Papa's

Swimming at Nana &Papa's this summer has been a blast. Jacob absolutely loves the water. He goes jumping off the top of the slide or off the edge of the pool with NO fear.

Gracie is now 6 months old. She is growing so fast. She is eating so many foods, no teeth yet though so watermelon is a favorite and of course any thing but peas in jar foods. She can roll, scoot and go both forwards and backwards in her walker. She loves to laugh at Jacob and jump. She is so excited to try and follow him but can't figure out how to.

Camping Sherkston Shores

Camping with Nana and Papa at Sherkston Shores is always a blast. Swimming in the pools, water slides, and in the rock quarry were all fun. There is so much to do with all the play grounds and beaches. Jacob Brianna and Papa got a pretty big work out climbing to the top of the sand pile, and jumping all the waves in the lake. Gracie had the most fun in the swings and on the golf cart rides.

Memorial weekend camping

Memorial weekend we went camping in our new camper for the first time. It was so much better than the tent. Jacob had fun riding in the kayak (for the first hour only, and cried the rest of the way), swimming, jumping in his pool and playing. Gracie took the much more relaxed approach and just hung out, going with the flow.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter. The Easter Bunny hid Jacob's basket in the changing table but didn't even hide Gracie's. We went to church and then to Nana & Papa's for dinner and an egg hunt, then to Nonnie & Poppie's for dessert and an egg/treasure hunt.

Gracie is 3 months old

Can you believe Gracie is 3 months old? She is growing so fast and is developing such a social personality. She is always cooing. She is already trying to pull herself to sitting in the swing. She can scoot when she is laying on her back by kicking off and can move the walker backwards. We just switched formulas again and is tolerating this one much better. We had pictures for Gracie's 3 months and Jacob's 2nd Birthday and of course went for french fries, Jacob was such a good boy for pictures.

Jacob's 2nd Birthday

For Jacob's 2nd Birthday we went to Bounce Magic during the day and had cake that night but his party wasn't until the following week. He had Finding Nemo decorations and cake. Bounce Magic I'm sure is his favorite place to be. He loved the huge slide and went down it by himself first thing. He jumped in the bounce houses and went down the slides so many times he never even slowed down until his poor legs wouldn't even carry him up the stairs any more.

Fun in the Snow

We had a great day of sledding. It was a perfect day to sled but exhausting to pull Jacob up the hill.

Gracie's First Day of Daycare

Gracie had her first day of daycare. She absolutely loves it. The kids and all the entertainment and excitement keep her smiling.

Gracie's Baptism

Gracie was Baptised 2/7/10. She cried through the mass and slept through the luncheon. Jacob watched through the mass, Baptised his doggy after mass(he actually threw doggy in the baptismal pool) and ran during the entire luncheon. A perfect day. It's a good thing they both let me dress them up to take pictures ahead of time.

Gracie is now a month old

Gracie is now a month old. She tries to hold her head up, smiles at all of us and has just started to make her own singing noises. Jacob loves his little sister. He tries to brush her hair, hug, kiss and swing her. He strives for our attention, testing the boundaries of our patience. We are keeping him as involved as possible tending to her and helping him achieve his independence dressing himself and using the potty. Jacob loved that he was able to help me make and frost a cake.
